Cyras Custom Home Experience

Cyras Custom Homes will guide you through our proven, step-by-step process that will include a series of organized meetings on site, at the office with the decorator and architect, and with vendors if necessary.

Preliminary Meeting

Preliminary Meetings

We will discuss lifestyle preferences, locations, style and specific area of focus. This is a good opportunity to discuss a plan you found appealing or general cost criteria.
Architecture Meeting

Architecture/Designer Meeting

This is usually two meetings. The first is based on input from the preliminary meeting with a sketch plan to discuss and modify. The second meeting should result in the architect being ready to go to hard line drawings.
Lot Review

Lot Review

An onsite meeting is necessary to locate the house and finish floor elevation and the boundaries of clearing. We will also review site drainage, erosion control, access, utility connections and additional outdoor uses and activities.
Budget Meeting

Budget and Contract Meeting

With finalized plans and finish schedules in hand we sign off on the contract and provide the documents you will need for the financing. While you finish with the bank we will begin the permit and approvals procedures.
Onsite Meetings

Onsite Meetings

We will meet at the house after framing, prior to sheetrock, to confirm outlets and switches, special equipment and framed details. There will be a pre trim detail verify trim and door details and tie down wall and ceiling colors.
Final Walkthrough

Punch List and Final Walk-Through

There will be a walk through when the house is complete to develop a punch list followed by a final walk through to assure that all of the work is completed and the house is ready for the owners to occupy. At this time Cyras Custom Homes will provide vendor warranties, demonstrate customer maintenance responsibilities and turn over manufacturers’ equipment information.

As a practical matter, our customers visit their house often while it’s under construction and have questions outside of the structured meetings. We are available by phone or email, or will meet you at the site at a mutually convenient time. If the buyer is out of town we can send progress photos and update schedules.
